Scholastic Book Fair
The Scholastic Book Fair is returning to McGill! Come to Room 103 in the Education Building from 10:00am - 2:00pm from Monday, February 13th until Wednesday, February 15th to pick up some great resources for yourself and your classroom!
Education Town Hall
EdUS is hosting a TOWN HALL. This is a forum to discuss topics such as the extension of the third field experience, tuition hikes and protests, the David Dillon project and anything else that influences Education students. February 16th @ 6:00-8:00pm in Room 129 of the Education Building.
Picture Talking Workshop!
EdUS and The Big Blue Hug are proud to present a Picture Talking Workshop to McGill students! Have an interest in working with students with special needs? Want to make sure your class is as inclusive as possible? Simply love to learn? Come to the workshop to learn how you can use pictures to communicate to students and youth with or without special needs!

U0/U1 Dinner
Are you in U0 or U1? EdUS is hosting a "first year" dinner to try and foster some community within our faculty! We all know that in your first year, especially when you're taking subject area courses, you might not really feel like an Education student. We want to fix that! On Wednesday, January 25th from 3pm to 6pm come to the Lounge in the Education Building (basement 1 - you can take the stairs or the elevator and wander until you find the couches and microwaves!) for FREE PIZZA and a chance to meet other U0/U1 Education Students as well as members of your Education Undergraduate Society.
Don't Forgetti Your Spaghetti!
Holiday food drive 2011 for Dans La Rue. The food drive is still going on - it will end on Monday December 19th.EdUS is collecting packages of uncooked spaghetti and donations for Dans La Rue - a Montreal community-based organization that works with street kids and at-risk youth. There will be a box for donations in the Education lobby, as well as in the EdUS office.
Education Building Teach-In
Come hear and discuss the thoughts of your fellow education undergrads, graduate students, and professors on the topics of: MUNACA, Occupy Wall Street, tuition hikes, Nov. 10th, "We are All McGill" in a safe and open environment. Deisgned for education students, all are welcome.

Who: Moustached people (you!)
What: Flip Cup and prizes for Man of Movember and Miss Movember (these prizes will be in pitcher of beer form)
Where: Bar des Pins When: Saturday November 26 at 9pm.
Why?: Charity. And EdUS is buying the first 25 pitchers for flip cup.
Get there early.
Tickets are 10$ pre-sale and at the door with all proceeds going straight to Movember Canada. Your ticket gets you a free beer when you walk in the door.
How you can get involved:

Pancakes and Merch Sale!
PANCAKES AND MERCH!! PANCAKES AND MERCH!!So I'm not yet privy to all the details... but I wanted you to be the first to know that EdUS is going to be filling the lobby of the Education Building with pure AWESOME on Monday, October 24th AND Friday, October 28th. Your council will be griddling-up some delicious pancakes and having a crazy sale on EdUS merchandise! The sale will go from 9am-2pm or while supplies last.
Fill the Stadium - Redmen Football Game
Come out and support your McGill Redmen Football team on Friday, September 30th as they take on Bishops University in McGill's annual Fill the Stadium showdown.Kick off at 7 p.m. - refreshments are $2. See you all there!Let's show some school spirit BEd'ers!
Welcome Week 2011!
Wednesday, September 7th: Samosas for sale in the lobby of the Education Building! Starting around 11am, while supplies last! Come out and meet some of the EdUS council and have a chance to win prizes!
Thursday, September 8th: Welcome-Back BBQ. This is your chance to come and explore what the Faculty of Education has to offer and get some FREE FOOD! Tables will be set up in the lobby for CAPS, Advisors, Library Services, EdUS and more. Make sure to bring your Student ID to get a ticket for food, and a raffle! U0 and U1 students especially, this is a great opportunity to get to know more about your faculty!
Friday September 9th: We will be in the lobby all morning with coffee (provided by Education Beyond Borders!), cookies, and grilled cheese sandwiches (10am - 1pm)! Then, in the afternoon (2pm), we will be hosting our First Annual EdUS Ultimate Frisbee Tournament! A sign-up sheet will be posted in the lobby all week. Sign-up and come out for some awesome frisbee and the chance to win your team free beer at Gerts, courtesy of EdUS.
